ILA Nigeria
The International Law Association (ILA) Nigeria branch provides visionary leadership on international law in Nigeria. It is a leading platform and intellectual space for Nigerian scholars and practitioners to unearth, analyze and resolve important questions in public and private international law, international diplomacy, and global governance. Established in 2014, it is an offshoot of the ILA which was established in 1873. The ILA Nigeria is headed by Prof Damilola Olawuyi, SAN, FCIArb. The Branch’s activities are overseen by an Executive Council, consisting of the Branch President, Prof Damilola Olawuyi, SAN, FCArb; the Vice President, Oludayo Olorunfemi; the Secretary-General, Clement Osuya, FCArb, UK; the Treasurer, Alex Oche; and the chairs of all committees.
